New material and new markup conventions in concept diagrams in the Finnish IT Terminology 8/2018

The Finnish Group for IT Terminology has now started to use UML (Unified Modeling Language) markup conventions in concept diagrams. The introduction of UML diagrams makes it easier to update the diagrams, and the diagrams can be seen better on different screens. The terms and definitions in the diagrams continue to act as links to the term records in question.

The terminology has also been updated. New and updated concepts:

  • application
  • bug bounty
  • data protection
  • description of file
  • emoji
  • emoticon
  • personal data file
  • unmanned aerial vehicle
  • vulnerability
  • zero-day vulnerability
