Vocabulary of Information Management in Social Sector, version 1.0

The Vocabulary of Information Management in Social Sector – Concepts Related to Services, Service Processes and Client Information was completed in spring 2015. The vocabulary contains information on ca 720 concepts in Finnish. The vocabulary clarifies the content of the concepts with the help of definitions and complementing notes and gives recommendations on the Finnish terms. The relationships between concepts are illustrated with concept diagrams.

The Vocabulary of Information Management combines previously compiled vocabularies into one publication and harmonizes and updates the information given in them. It consists of the most central concepts of the Vocabulary of Client Information System in Social Sector, the Vocabulary of Social Services Classification, the Vocabulary of Social Welfare Client Documents (version 2.0), the Vocabulary of Economic Classifications in Social Welfare (version 1.0) and some concepts of the Vocabulary of Social Welfare Aggregate Core Components (version 2.0).

The Vocabulary of Information Management in Social Sector has been published in TEPA Term Bank and on the web site of the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) in PDF format (only in Finnish).
