Varantojen vähimmäismäärä, jonka luottolaitoksen edellytetään pitävän keskuspankissa. Eurojärjestelmän vähimmäisvarantojärjestelmässä luottolaitoksen varantovelvoite lasketaan kertomalla sen varantopohjaan sisältyvien tase-erien ryhmien summat sillä velvoiteprosentilla, joka on määritelty kullekin ryhmälle. Lisäksi laitokset saavat tehdä könttäsummavähennyksen varantovelvoitteestaan.

I Eurosystemets kassakravssystem beräknas storleken på varje kreditinstituts kassakrav genom att kassakravsprocenten för respektive kategori poster i kassakravsbasen multipliceras med summan av dessa poster i institutets balansräkning. Instituten får vidare göra ett generellt avdrag från sitt kassakrav.

In the minimum reserve framework of the Eurosystem, the reserve requirement of a credit institution is calculated by multiplying the reserve ratio for each category of items in the reserve base by the amount of those items on the institution´s balance sheet.
