The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and the Finnish Terminology Centre have compiled Sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon digitaalisten palvelujen sanasto (a glossary of digital services in healthcare and social welfare) together with a large expert group as a part of the Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland.

The glossary contains information on 26 concepts related to digital services and communication in Finnish. The glossary clarifies the content of the concepts with the help of definitions and complementing notes and gives recommendations on Finnish terms. In addition, concept systems are illustrated with concept diagrams. Later, Swedish terms will be added in the glossary and concept descriptions will be translated into Swedish.

The glossary is meant for professionals in healthcare and social welfare, the developers of digital services and information systems, and experts in communication and information management.
